Have you struggled with weight loss to the point where you hate food but love to overeat?
Is your body talking back to you with insults like lagging energy, crazy mood swings and bloating that won’t budge?
Have you tried every diet and are tired of the following “Toxic stew with excess weight, frustration and suffocating self-worth” recipe:
1. Try new diet
2. Succeed for 2-3 weeks
3. Get bored, tired of obsessing about food or feel trapped by the restrictions
4. Fall off the wagon
5. Berate and convince yourself you are destined to a life of hating your body
6. Repeat for leftovers
If successful weight loss were a rationale process that only involved counting calories, anyone who passed fifth grade math would be at their goal weight.
Conventional diets ignore simple food principles and that women are multi-dimensional.
For successful and sustainable weight loss, you need to be nourished on all three levels: body, mind and soul.
Enter the “Calling A Truce With Food” program. In this program, Ali will guide you through the process of how to balance your body, use your emotions to your advantage and begin to create a life you want to be attractive for (that’s the life that feeds your spirit).
During this program, you’ll discover:
1. What foods your body needs for balance
2. How to fit these foods into an on-the-go lifestyle
3. The food/mood connection
4. How to deconstruct your personal cravings
5. Your own food philosophy and how to rewire your beliefs to support your goals
6. How to end self-sabotage
7. Where your dieting willpower should be focused
8. The two biggest pitfalls that blindside all career dieters – and how to overcome them
9. What you want in an ideal life
10. The strengths you already have but are under-utilizing and how to use them to achieve the life you’ve always hoped for
If you are struggling with weight loss, it’s because you haven’t been given the whole story. What would a $40 billion per year dieting industry do if you succeeded? Your failures are their cash cows. You have enough will power. You have enough discipline. It’s just directed in the wrong places.
The key to losing weight organically is to determine what is missing on a physical, mental and/or spiritual level. Yet many of us have a hard time determining these needs because weight loss has been our sole focus for so long (It took me 15 years to figure this out! I've designed this program to save your time, money and sanity). Our bodies are out of balance, preventing the calm and clarity needed to figure out the missing pieces. The “Calling a Truce With Food Program” will provide you with the initial answers you need and keep you on the path to discovering everything you need to lose weight organically.
Come join Ali and other like-minded women for this insightful and inspiring workshop series. Each workshop will include group participation and exercises designed to help you achieve your weight loss goals without the obsessing over food.
Where: Eviama Life Spa, 262 S.16th Street, Rittenhouse Square in Center City Philadelphia
When: Every Monday night from September 13-October 11 (Sept, 13, 20, 27, Oct. 4 & 11) from 6-7:15 p.m.
Investment price: $249 (before August 13), $299 after August 20
Special note: This program isn’t for everyone. If you think there’s one more dieting stone left un-turned or you're trying to lose 10 pounds in one month, there are tons of better options out there for you.
This program is for those women who are truly exhausted from dieting and are open to the road less traveled. They are ready to replace judgment with curiosity and understand what their bodies are telling them. I’ve taken hundreds of women through this process, including myself. Those that achieve the results they want with my approach are the ones who are ready to take some time to understand their bodies and lives…not those on a weight loss deadline.

Details of the 5-week “Calling a Truce With Food” program*:
We will take a five week exploration of how to read your individual body, what it needs for balance and how this effects your mood and mentality around weight-loss. In this process, we'll focus on four main areas necessary to fall in love with food again:
Balancing Your Body
Without a calm and balanced body, you lack the clarity to understand what your body needs. Yet many of us don’t trust our body's signals because well, our body feels bloated and broken-down. We’re always hungry, exhausted or craving sugar. But once you start feeding your body properly, you will experience yourself coming back to life. Real life. What it should be.
We’ll discuss:
1. The food/mood connection
2. How to discover what foods work best for your body
3. How to fit the healing foods you need into your life
Freeing Your Mind
Once you come back to the land of the living (it’s a small but growing group!), it’s time to investigate your beliefs around food and how to discern what your body and mind really need when they think, “F %^* it. I’m going for the chocolate. And lots of it.”
We’ll discuss:
1. The questions that will unlock the food philosophy you are operating under
2. The three types of cravings and how to deconstruct yours
3. An action plan for being in control of these cravings
Ending Self-Sabotage
You’re grooving along. Feeling good physically, more aware mentally and boom. You start with one “cheat”. It turns into two and pretty soon, your mood and weight loss have spiraled downward. To the pits. You’re smart, accomplished and disciplined in all other areas of your life – where is your willpower now?
We’ll discuss:
1. Where your willpower should be focused and the one question that will help you uncover your answer
2. Becoming aware of the two biggest pitfalls that prevent all career dieters from reaching their goal weight
3. An action plan for patching up theses pitfalls
Connecting with Your Ideal
Now you understand how to fire on all cylinders and avoid the self-sabotage exit. To keep your weight loss going, you’ll need a life you are excited about. One that feeds your mind and spirit. What does that life look like and what are the travel plans to arrive?
After the four weeks of bringing your body into balance, we’ll wrap it all up with creating a life you want to love and live in a jean size that's equally compelling! We'll:
1. Develop a vision for this life
2. Discover your unique strengths and values that will be needed to create this life
3. An action plan to fill in the gaps from where you are today to where you are going
*Each week builds upon the last so you cannot attend just one workshop. If you have to miss one of the workshops, you will receive all the information, hand-outs and exercises for that missed workshop. For this program to be effective, you’ll need to understand each step. There will be “homework” after each workshop so you maximize your progress.

ShareThis“A Fantastic Experience that Changed my Life”
I had added a regular exercise routine to my life, but was still struggling with food. I wanted to take control of my health and find ways to prepare and eat healthy and delicious meals.
The openness of the group of women was amazing. I think of all the diets that I tried and wasted money on including the ones that had “group support” and none of them came close to the time that I spent with this group. I learned more about why I eat and binge, and identified situations and feelings that are triggers for me. Now I no longer judge my food choices as good or bad, and have eliminated the guilt associated with eating which has helped me to stay on track over all.
Friends on Facebook have messaged that my updated photo shows how happy and great I look. I have lost weight, incorporate more quality organic foods into my meals, and let my happiness reflect in all other aspects of life. What a fantastic experience!

“Supportive, Understanding, & Nourishing to the Soul”
I really enjoyed the informal group approach because listening to other women helped me to dig deep into myself and recognize emotional habits created a long time ago. It felt like a safe zone where we could try new things, enjoy our little successes, and support each other when we felt we had taken a step backwards. Ali is a great teacher and leader because she manages to impart tons of information and tips without it feeling like you are being lectured. She understands the struggles that we are all going through and gives excellent tools to lead us towards success.
I learned that food issues affect women whether they are fat, thin, tall, short, etc. We all have our personal struggles but talking and sharing our thoughts, and successes with like minded women really nourishes the soul!
And since the class, I have lost some weight, sleep better, have more energy, and my skin and eyes look great!
